What Size Dance Floor Do You Need?

The rule of thumb: plan roughly 4.5 square feet of dance floor per dancing guest, and assume about a third to a half of your guest list is on the floor at peak. A 100-guest wedding is usually happy on a 15x15 or 16x16 floor; 150 guests on an 18x18; 200-plus guests on a 20x20 or larger.

Bigger is not automatically better. An oversized floor reads empty in photos and kills the energy early. We size the floor to the crowd you actually expect on it, then place it where the bar, the band and the head table all funnel toward it.

Outdoor Dance Floor Rental on Grass, Gravel and Slopes

Most Eastern Washington venues are outdoors and almost none of them are flat. Our crew shims and levels every panel so the surface is safe in heels, then trims the perimeter so the edge is a clean transition instead of a hazard.

Subflooring is available under tents when the ground is soft, uneven or freshly irrigated. If your site has a real slope, tell us early — we will walk it with you or use the free tent layout planner to map it before your date.

Black and White or Wood-Look — Which Floor Fits Your Venue?

The black and white checkered floor is a statement. It photographs hard, reads beautifully under bistro lighting and suits ballroom, hangar, quinceañera and corporate-party looks.

The oak wood-look floor disappears into the setting instead of competing with it — the right call for barn weddings, vineyard receptions and orchard dinners where the venue is already the design.

Dance Floor Rental Prices in Eastern Washington

Dance floor rental cost depends on square footage, surface conditions and whether subflooring or a tent goes with it. Because we level and install every floor rather than dropping panels on the ground, your quote reflects the actual site — not a generic per-panel rate.

Send your date, venue and guest count and we will price the floor with the tent and lighting that go over it. We deliver across Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Chelan, Leavenworth, Cle Elum, Suncadia, Yakima, Ellensburg, Moses Lake, Quincy, Ephrata, the Methow Valley and the Tri-Cities.

How much does dance floor rental cost?

Pricing is driven by size, site conditions and whether subflooring or a tent is needed. Send your guest count and venue and we will quote the exact floor size your event needs — no charge for the layout work.

Can you put a dance floor on grass?

Yes. Grass is the most common surface we install on. We level each panel, add subflooring where the ground is soft or uneven, and finish the perimeter so the edge is safe in heels.

What size dance floor do I need for 100 guests?

A 15x15 or 16x16 floor handles about 100 guests comfortably. For 150 plan an 18x18, and for 200-plus a 20x20 or larger. We size it with you so it never reads empty in photos.

Do you rent dance floors for outdoor weddings?

Which cities do you deliver dance floors to?

Wenatchee, Chelan, Leavenworth, Cle Elum and Suncadia, Yakima, Ellensburg, Moses Lake, Quincy, the Methow Valley and the Tri-Cities.
