Chiavari chairs — often searched as chivari chairs, chivary chairs or ballroom chairs — are the classic upscale reception chair. Our cross back vineyard chair delivers that same elevated look with a wider seat and more comfort for guests sitting through a three-hour dinner, and it photographs better against Eastern Washington's orchard, vineyard and mountain backdrops.

If you want the polished-ballroom feel specifically, the fruitwood and mahogany folding chairs land close to a fruitwood chiavari at a lower price point. Tell us the look you are after and we will show you honest options rather than talking you into the most expensive stack.

How Many Chairs Should You Rent?

Rent one chair per guest for the reception, and plan for the ceremony separately if it is in a different spot — many couples rent a single set and pay for a flip, while others rent two sets to avoid a rushed transition. We will tell you which is cheaper for your timeline.

Add five to ten percent for late RSVPs, vendors eating on site and the kids' table nobody counted. Extra chairs are far cheaper than a guest standing at dinner.

Ceremony Chair Setup and Flips

Chair setup is available as an add-on: our crew places every chair to your ceremony diagram, then flips the space to reception configuration while guests are at cocktail hour.

Yes — chair setup and ceremony-to-reception flips are available as add-ons, or you can take drop-and-go and place them yourself.

How many chairs do I need?

One per guest, plus five to ten percent for late RSVPs, vendors and kids. If your ceremony and reception are in different spots, ask us whether a flip or a second set costs less for your timeline.

Can I rent chairs without tables?

Absolutely. Ceremony-only chair rentals are common, and there is no minimum event size — we set up 20-guest backyard dinners as readily as 1,500-guest productions.
